so i stop by petco to pick up a feeder for my 15 month old candy cane corn - i knew better - i knew when i went in that the weekend before they had their normal balls at 40 bucks - i had called myself setting up a viv for some potential purchase at the expo at sheperdsville, ky next month - my son and i went there last year after attending a travel football tourney in louisville and it being my first show ever i came home with a beautiful female dumeril's raised by d and k in cincinnatti - i was hooked - anyway, at that time i had small children of my then wife's at home and after several months i got a little nervy and sold her - so, i thought i could be content with my one lil corn - wrong again - so this week, i bought from adam kirk a fantastic pair of 3 ft. dumeril's due to be shipped next week to give me time to purchase/setup enclosures for them - in the meantime, i drug my original 10 gallon out of the attic and begin to set it up as i said thinking to possibly go nuts over something next month at the expo
you know the rest of the story - i had a salesman get me out a perfect lil normal with fantastic clean lines and i quickly said to him "put him in a box" - i have to admit i would have loved to have a morph - i really, really wanted a leucistic but my wallet said no way - so i'm on a roll - from one corn to 2 dumeril's and a ball!!!!!!! - sorry for the long post - just excited

I'm thinking this new girl will not be your only Ball for long . There are alot of affordable morphs out there, especially at the shows, so you might find one there that fits your budget to add to your growing collection.

I got my first ball about a month aswell I didn't like em at first cause couple years back I worked at a petsmart and they always bit me! I had a 40g breeder that I broke down and dint want to set back up with fish and some how ended up with a pastel from regal pet shop in RI. Now I'm getting two more from a local breeder they are a pair of normals het for pied so hopefully I get some cute babies in a few years after I read up and get well expierince with them. Little to say I'm process of making. Snake rack..... just like the kid who told me said. Once u have one there will be many more to come and he was right! Good luck with her

after I got my first ball,.. I was hooked. It took me about 7 months between my first and "2/3" I got 2 at the same time... Since August... I've added 4 to my collection and a new lizard... Thanks to my wonderful boyfriend who buys me everything I beg him for
