Wow she's growing fast Doug! That yellow is so intense it almost matches your bracelet. I'm not a big fan of Splendidas but those are nice!

That was a splendida x nigrita locality cross with a possible tad of californiae lineage originating from the Santa Cruz/Nogales are in southeatern Arizona close to Mexico. I really liked him too, but I needed a very similar female for him from the same area if I was going to breed it, and one example I knew of was also a male that was captured about 1/2 mile from the border in the very same area, and looked VERY similar too, only slightly darker.

But I decided to sell him to Graham of "Strange Cargo" because he showed a very strong interest in him and he had a similar female himself. Heck, I didn't want to hunt forever for the right mate, so I let it go to Graham instead. He was VERY pleased with him as well, so all is good I guess.

You know what they say....."ya can't keep everything"..LOL!

That's something I may have to start learning here very soon, lol! I know what you mean Doug. Well if he has a similar male, than maybe He'll have some for sale in the future? That had an interesting look for sure and it was a natural intergrade.

Yeah, I really liked his interesting phenotype, AND his excellent personality, and was such an awesome feeder too. The dude originally told me he was very nippy and finicky about eating..LOL!.......yeah, RIGHT!. I saw absolutely ZERO of any of those problems. He was as good a feeder as any snake I have ever owned my entire life, and was great to handle as well. I was thinking to myself...."what the hell was this dude talking about???"..LOL!

Thanks man!,.....I really wasn't all that into them either, but I really do like these two.

Great looking Gal there Doug.....
Here's my little Splendida Pride and Joy that hatched over here this year......
Female Double Het for Snow Possible het for Hypo......
One of the cleanest patterns I have ever seen on a Splendida.....
None of her siblings had such a nice pattern, but I held back a male for her too......
