Hi All,
I have a pastel that 100% ovulated in August. She had her post ovulation shed on 2 Sept but she hasn't laid eggs. Just within the last week I have tried feeding her and she wont eat. Could she be holding eggs that long? Should I be concerned? Thanks for your input, Paige

That's a long time to go, but I've heard stories of it happening and still getting good eggs.

Thanks Dale!! I tried again with a f/t'd rat last night and she took it but I haven't checked to make sure she ate it because she is a little bit fiesty when it comes to food. Also if she is pregnant I am trying to give her a little space. If she took it and ate it I am planning on putting my cinnamon male with her tonight. Or do you think I should wait a day? I tried to respond back through my yahoo account but it wouldn't let me. Do you know how often female balls ovulate? Thanks, Paige
(yes, I have the book by NERD but I didn't see anything answering these questions)
