I´ve heard of highway277 bullsnakes. They are supposed to get really big.
My question is: Where are they from, there origin?
And are they available in europe?
Any additional info will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Jonas

Highway 277 I believe is in west Texas and yes those west Texas bulls have a reputation for getting pretty big and beautiful. I remember a pic Shannon Brown had many years ago from west Texas of a 9' male that was missing part of his tail.
Can't tell you about availability in Europe. But you can sometimes find west Texas bulls on the KS classifieds.

Wow 9` thats a big one. I would like to see that picture.
Or any pictures of 277 bulls.
Jonas
That picture was from about 8 or 10 years ago so I don't know if it's still in the kingsnake archives.
If you want to see some available Texas bulls check out the kingsnake classifieds under "other snakes" there are usually ads for some on there.

here's one. the pattern shown on this cb female is fairly typical as well as the attitude. the bigger they get, the prettier they become, the more scary they are! this gal is not bluffing, she is mean as all get out....

That´s a beautiful snake.
She looks pretty pist
The link you posted for that ad, are actually advirtising a variety of Sonoran Gophers- though they are all called bulls in TX, but if you look at the pattern carefully, they follow the basic Sonoran pattern. They are exceptional non the less but falsly advertized as Bulls.

I thought it looked a little different. Not really a bull.
But what is the exact difference from the sonoran gopher and the bull? Number of saddles or?
Unfortunatly that person always incorrectly advertises his animals as Bulls when they are Sonorans- and frankly I love Sonorans so would and am still VERY interested in them, just dont have enough space. There is nothing bad by calling those beautiful Christmas Mtn. animals Sonorans- it wont change their desirability at all. However, to answer your question- Bulls and Sonorans are both P. cantentifer, yet different subspecies that frequently intergrade along their bordering ranges. Sonorans tend to be smaller, less bulky, and have more reddish saddles toward the rear, than Bulls (at least with the ones I have seen and kept). The saddles near the neck tend not to be solid brown or reddish as in bulls, and their heads are a bit narrower than bulls and have some different scale counts. When you put the two side by side- it is easier to tell the differences. Like you I asked that very same question a while back about the differences between Sonorans and TX Bulls, yet over time spent looking at many pictures and any live animals I could, the differences became very clear, and now I have a very easy time telling them apart and spotting a Sonoran.

Thank you I stand corrected. To be honest I didn't really look all that closely as I was just trying to find some Texas Pits for the OP to admire.

The one time I drove down on 277 on my way down to Del Rio, I came across this BIG boy who was freshly hit- he was HUGE! He was a good 6' plus.
I was SOOOOOOOO bummed- he was gorgeous!

Highway 277 is more so west central texas, not west texas. It runs through Wichita Falls and then to the south.
