Newly hatched Fireflies

Kevin_Arbogast Oct 27, 2010 10:45 PM

I hatched out these two hot looking girls earlier this week. These are the result of breeding a friends exceptional Fire male to one of my Pastel girls. Out of 6 eggs there were 0.2 Fireflies 0.3 Normals and a lone male Pastel. Very happy with how this clutch turned out.

Firefly #1

Firefly #2

The Pastel male turned out pretty nice as well.

Those are gorgeous Kevin, some of the nicest I have seen! Just think they are only going to get better looking once the shed and get some age on them. I am jealous, I just hatched out a clutch from Fire to Pastel and missed on all of them. I did get all Fires though but five of them are Males. Oh well maybe next year for me. LOL Good luck with those pretty girls.

WOW! They are very nice! The pastel male is stunning for a regular pastel. Congrats on your clutch!

They look good, i can't wait to see them in person. You can really see how that banding on my Fire influenced the pattern on those little guys. Great camera work too, we need a group shot of everything in both clutches. Talk to you soon, George
