Jackpot Clutch!!!

LHR Oct 29, 2010 07:53 PM

I am trying to make out this clutch. I bred my male champagne to my bumble bee female, forgetting that earlier I locked up my male lesser with her as well. Question is it possible for both males to fertilize the same clutch. I think its possible. The snakes with ? marks I am not sure of.

1.0 CHAMPAGNE
1.0 PASTEL CHAMPAGNE SPIDER (PASTEL CHAMBEE)?
0.1 PASTEL
0.1 QUEEN BEE?

Lloyd,

It is very common to have more than one male father a clutch.

This year I produced a bumble bee, a mojave and a spider from the same clutch. My records showed that the normal female had been with a bumble bee and a mojave.

A couple of years ago a good friend of mine produced a clutch where the babies were fathred by 4 different males.

By the way, beautiful group of babies, congratulations.

To me it looks like:
a Pastel Spider Champagne
a Champagne
a Bumblebee
and a Pastel
That's definitely a Bee Champ! Congrats!

In 07 I had 3 males father the same clutch, mojaves, spiders and pastels. I'm doing the same thing this season w/ my pin female, its a surprise when they start to hatch.
