questions about possible sperm plug

I was giving my 06 male boa a bath tonight, and instead of defecation, I got nothing but two seperate, yellowish strands, about 2, 2 1/2 inches in length. Looked alot like boogers. Really thick.

Can anyone help me out with an ID on what the hell that means? He's been in with an 06 female for about a week. She's shedding this week, but I've seen no ovulation swelling. She did refuse an XXL rat for me though...first time ever. This is the first year I've tried breeding her.

Is what I'm seeing a sperm plug? and if so, what does that mean for my breeding boas? Any advice would be appreciated. Sorry that I can post a photo of what I'm seeing coming out of my male...really need to get a camera.
