So back in 04 I get this idea to hatch my own piebald B.P.I sprung some serious cash on a pair of het. babys.
I grew them up a few years thinking I should see results in the 3rd year.They were sporatic feeders at best.No breeding in the 3rd year.I saw no breeding in the 4th year although the female ovulated and went on to lay 4 slugs and 1 good egg.It hatched normal,possible het.In the 5th year,no breeding.In the 6th year(this year)breeding like crazy from march to july.I got 5 good eggs at the end of August with 1 slug.Here are the results of the 5 good eggs.I'm tickled to say the least.
