Is it normal for a juvinile iguana to squeel., or make squeeking noises.And if they do what dose it mean?

NO its not normal! maybe its windpipe is blocked! or its sick and have slime in the lungs... so take it to the VET ASAP!

what temperatures do u have in its cage? they get sick if its too cold..

is it a green iguana or a cyclura? cyclura can hiss at you like a cat.. but the way u say it sounds its likely sick.. Green iguanas dont hiss(usually)

Its a cyclura.

Oh ya and the temp. is eighty degrees and he only made it twice once when I was transfering him to a new cage a few weeks ago, and now hey just did it for no reason when I was at the other side of the room.

ambiant temp in the 80s is ok but you also need a spot light.. then its prob just hissing at you.. he wants to be alone..

dude hehe you discription of the squeeking squeeling was not normal or even close to hissing,,,LOL there is a big difference compared to hissing hehe

they hiss at you to scare you and sneeze out the exess salt.. these sounds are normal..

if they squeek or squeel something is wrong...

does he look like he is going to attack? then he is just hissing at you..

if it still makes the sounds when its sleeping or relaxed then its sick..

Sometimes they can hiss, and cyclura grunt awhole big bunch, but its not really vocal noise because they do not have vocal cords. It is just air escaping.
