What makes for a great Lesser?

Chris633 Oct 31, 2010 01:16 PM

Hi,

I'm looking to eventually make a Queen Bee with a BumbleBee and a Lesser Platinum. I want to do so using prettiest parents I can. I have loved Balls since I was a child, but I am new to the realm of breeding. I know that with the BumbleBees you want nice bright yellows with little black freckling. But what makes for a great Lesser?

Thanks for the help!

Chris

Its more up too you.

Some people like lighter Lessers and some people, including myself, like the darker, more contrasting Lessers.

Chris,

I think that the SGR line Lessers will make the best Queen bees among other lesser combos. I hope you agree. The SGR line lesser pictured is all lesser, beautiful High Yellow lesser. I hope to be able to offer a few of these next season. Enjoy!

I personally like lessers with very few alien eyes. My focus is on contrasting colors. Notice the golden colored flames coming up from this lesser's bellie, and the white bordering the pattern. I hope to be producing gold blush lessers this year, I'm very excited to see how they come out.
