I know they are all individuals but in general, which are calmer, and by what age do they calm down?

I have a female cuban that is about 4 years old and a female rhino that is 2 years old. The cuban is much calmer. She tolerates being handled and likes to follow me around the house. The rhino is younger but she is wild. I can pet her when she is in her cage but when she is out she is hissing and tail whipping if I get any where near her. The cuban just has a much calmer personality, she is very laid back and easy going. The rhino is crazy. I hope this is just because she is still young but I think some of it is just her personality. I only have experience with these two iguanas so I don't know if this is the norm. They are both amazing lizards.

agreed. I have a rhino, and she is good, but a nutcase.
Cubans are less nutty.

Cuban Pros: Spikey
Rhino Pros: Lumpy
