Sooooo, this is my first year of breeding. I am planning on breeding my three males (lesser, spider and pastel-yellowbelly-50% het albino) to my two normal females. Well here is the story, I was cleaning the spiders cage, so I put him in temporarily with the pastel-yellowbelly until his cage was back in place. I have been cooling for about three weeks now, and when I came back to put him in his own cage, I find that the two have their tails twisted around each other. So my first thought is, homosexuality in the snake world? Then it dawned on me that I never did sex this snake from the breeder. Sure enough the breeder sold me a female spider instead of a male. Maybe this is a good thing, I don't know, but either way the spider isn't large enough to breed as a female, so back to the warm rack for her! Next season pray for BumbleBee-Yellowbeliies! Just thought I would share my surprise with everyone!
