Question about a particular fruit

Sunfox Sep 26, 2003 09:29 AM

Is it ok to give a uro pomegranates (sp?)? They are in season now and I really like them. Ra watches me eat them and looks at me like he's saying "Aw, that looks really tasty. Can I have some?" I just want to make sure that it's not dangerous for him.

Thanks

There are no toxins associated with pommegranates that would be harmful to a reptile

Ok, good to know. I was also concerned about the seeds in them. Are you sure they won't damage the GI tract if my uro eats them?

Well they don't do the human intestinal tract any damage. Of course that could be why I'm so grumpy. I've fed them to my animals occasionally and never had a problem. Some didn't seem that interested in them though.
