SAN DIEGO GOPHER SNAKES

Ryan_Sikola Nov 04, 2010 07:57 PM

Hey just playing with my new canon and figure I'd share pics of my annectans. I love this ssp so much I dropped most other pit projects

Just met Brian McGurty at the last expo, we talked about his strain of SDs and he said he'd take me to where his came from so I can do some proper outcrossing. I'm excited because I'm obviously a fan of these animals:

Snow and Anery:

Striped applegate and a very red het applegate:

Striped het klumpers & striped het klumpers + snow

Yorba Linda locality strain albino:

Wild caught from arroyo grande:

-----
6.7 pituophis c. annectans
1.1 senticolis t. intermedia
1.1 rhinechis scalaris
1.2 lampropeltis m. thayeri
2.1 pantherophis g. guttatus
1.1 lampropeltis t. campbelli

1.1 pituophis x pantherophis
1.1 lampropeltis campbelli x thayeri x nelsoni

An exceptional collection of some well kept individuals. Makes me wish I had room for a few more.

Thanks they are worth every penny I spent and every snake I had to part with to make room.

Great pictures of great snakes Ryan.
I also have a young male McGurdy, a young pair of Dyer albino and of coarse my wonderfull super hypo Klumpers female.

Dyer

Klumpers

I'm jealous of the dyer and klumpers! I like the mcgurty's pattern too, very dark and annectans patterned compared to some that have wider blotches.

HI Ryan

Sweet post. Love the animals posted. Those are great looking McGurtys. Who did you get your Striped Applegates from, if you don't mind sharing.

I posted a response to the thread below too.

Thanks for sharing some pics.

Hi Ryan

Just curious.

That's what I thought. If so they would be from my animals. Tom has a small group of annectans from me on breeder loan.
