Nice notley/mockley! What does the belly look like? I have a notley named Nautley who has a similar level of weirdness going on. He's a hypo though.

Not the best picture, but it shows his pattern real well. This was the day he arrived... all 4 grams of him.

WOW, what a gorgeous find, congrats! I can't believe stuff like that is just "out there". I look forward to seeing more pics as he ages.

Does the snake have a checkerboard pattern or plain white belly? If plain white, then you may have a naturally occuring striped/motley corn. If not, it could be just a temperature produced pattern variation and not genetic, or a new genetic variation not yet known. ALL striped and or motley corn morphs have plain bellies.

Hey, Kevin. You certainly know more about cornsnakes than I do, but I have to disagree with you on your statement that ALL have a plain white belly. My lavender motley has faint checker board patterning on at least part of his belly. And I have read that many now days do have some belly pattern. I's try to get a picture, but he hates me! He is possibly my most awesome snake, but he sure doesn't care for being handled.

Wow Amy, that snake is awesome! Now I have another snake on my wish list I know what you mean by faint pattern on some motley's belly. but it still should be much different than a normal corn right?

Thanks, guys! He does have some belly checkering, but it is the same color as his body, so very light.

I think he is what some are calling Moonstone. A lavender anery. I have to prove the anery part this next year, tho.

Very cool Amy!,..that will be interesting to see if the anery gene proves out for you.

I saw Carol Huddleston had a SMOKIN example of a normal patterned one

That is an awesome find! Let us know what the babies look like when you get some. That reminds me a little of the Tessera corns. They are basically striped but look more like a garter snake. The cool thing is they are dominant so they have some strped babies in the first generation even though the mate is normal.

That's the coolest WC corn I've ever seen. Even if it isn't genetic, what a bonus to have such a cool looking animal in your collection. Fingers crossed that the look is reproducible though...
