dragonzilla Nov 06, 2010 07:05 PM

Okay my dragons will only eat superworms and greens if offered first. My question is should they both be pooping everyday. they keep gaining weight and about every 3 days they drop a load. should i be worring or does anyone elses dragons poop every few days.

this is fine for adults. My dragon doesn't poop more than once or twice a week..big large wet poops too.

As long as there isn't any straining, and the poop isn't hard looking. Should be a softish formed stool. If really hard (as long as its not insect parts that makes it look hard) and your dragon really strains to go...then you have a dehydrated dragon.

If its really straining and little or nothing comes out, you have a blockage of some sort, or a very dehydrated/constipated dragon.

However yours sound normal.
