My new addiction, I mean addition

Well, have years of wanting one, I finally bought a Brazilian. And I must say (even though its hard to tell with crappy photography) he is a wonderful looking snake. But all parents say that about their kids, right?

lol, you're right. The topic has already been broached about getting another one. But we need to get some experience with this one first. This isn't our first boa, but it is our first rainbow, so time will tell.

When I can get some pics with natural lighting, I'll get some uploaded.

That's awesome. You're going to love raising your new BRB. If you think it looks good now, you'll have a surprise waiting for you each time it sheds. Congratulations

Yes, I read that they get more vibrant with age. So I can't wait. And he gave me my first bite, lol. Six years and I've never been bitten. Can't say the same for my husband, lol.

Thanks. I got him at the reptile show in SC on the 6th of this month--an early Christmas present from number 2 snake hater of the world--my mom. Lol, she said she couldn't stand the thought of buying a snake, but it was the only thing I'd asked for in years. (I'm 28 years old, Christmas isn't about me anymore, lol). He's a little over a month old. They warned me I needed to get used to being bit for awhile until he got used to me, lol.
