Hello all, I'm sean and I am new to Leo world. Heck, I'm new to the Herp world. Just posting here to say hello and to let you meet Jak. Here are some pictures of him, some are better then others.

From what I've been told, he's a Tangerine Carrot Tail Circleback. If anyone thinks otherwise, let me know. Or if you need a better picture let me know. And compliments are always welcome, Jak has a big ego =)

dont know about the carrottail part yet since its not showing so well but yes i would say at the very least a tang. circle back. I produced a few of them myself. My male breeder is a hypo tang carrottail so all of my babies carry the carrottail gene but time will tell if they develope the carrottail or not. Never know when their so young what they will end up looking like. One of my tang babies looked normal but is now showing a fabulous red tail and no spots at all on her body or head and is a gorgious baldy. keep taking photos of her and compare. Show them to us also. I would love to see how she develops.

He's too young to say for sure, looks maybe a month old if that, if he will turn out to be either a tang or a carrotttail, but I do see orange developing on that tail already so that is a good sign.It is not at all uncommon for geckos to be born orange and for that color to fade

Here is an example:

See how orange the gecko on the top is?

This is gecko as an adult- has an orangy hue but not what people would call a tang these days

This gecko does have one tang parent, too.
