Jonel sure does and I believe he has been breeding Knobs for almost a decade now?!

So this is who got the male. Congratulations!

The sister; still available. Can't afford her but what a spectacular animal! I have been drooling over these knobs for quite awhile!

I sure did! I emailed him 2 hours after the notification emails were sent to people on his list. I was lucky to come across this beauty! Sure wish he had some red on top of his head but that's okay! His overall makes him a real looker!

Nice female Knob by the way! I couldn't afford a pair so I had to settle with a lone male!

Thanks! He is also a real nice guy. We had a few long conversations on the phone about Knoblochi. I learned a lot of things from Jonel as well!

While it is a beauty, as knobs are, what characteristic about it constitutes the name "megaband"?

Lots of bands. Like, count them.

Here is one of my regular pyro babies who could almost qualify as a megaband since he has so many more bands than the usual.

I actually don't like the term "megaband" because many European hybrids are called Megabands...........

What do these European megaband snakes look like? What are they hybrids of?

I think the term sounds great, but since it is Jonel's line I will follow it and besides he bred them.

It is interesting how they use that term for European hybrids and that is a first for me. I will have to look it up by researching about this...

You are absolutely correct Bob. He has a high band count and it is so neat how his white bands are almost the same size as the red ones.

Strange but I have always had knoblochi with red eyes. He is the first I have had that has brown eyes.

Nice pyro by the way! It is a real beauty! I like pyros with lots of black as much as reduced black.
