my toad is at the vet right now (hopefully getting better) but this morning when I woke up my toad was having what looked like a seizure. I picked him up just thinking that he was being weird. When I picked him up he rolled over in my hand and he had a pink bubble that looked like an eraser top on his stomach. It looked like it was sticking out of his belly. Maybe a cyst?? After about five minutes he appeared to be fine, just extremely swollen. I called the Doctor and she said to bring him in. A few minutes later he started having another convulsion where he stretched out his hind legs and pulled his arms under his belly. He looked like he was in a lot of pain. This time there was a white milky substance that was coming out of his skin on top of his head. By this time I was in my car on the way to the doctor.

I still haven't heard from the doctor. But I'm thinking positive. I don't know a lot about health issues with african bouncing toads. Does anyone have a clue what is happening with my toad???? I have two toads, one small and one larger. The largest one is the size of my palm. they have both been healthy, about a week ago my little toads (the sick one) skin had changed to a more pale color. He was still as active and eating just fine. Was this a warning sign??? Could my other toad become sick since they live in the same house together?? Thanks for your help
