Tail of an escaped leo....

LeoEyes Sep 26, 2003 02:06 PM

Well everyone, after having my oldest leo, Orion, for 3 years he finially gave me the slipe and escaped last night. I walked into my room and noticed that the glass was wedged open :-O, I searched his tank and nope he wasn't there.... So I call my dad up and we start tearing my room apart looking for him. At this point in thinking "oh please, oh please he is my room still." After looking under dressers and desks, we finially found him under my book case, I should have known... one of my female leos tank sits right on top of the book case. He most likely thinks shes hes girl friend, since they "flirt" through the glass when ever i have her out. LOL

Moral of the story, those of you with male leos that have gotten out, always look near or around you female leos tanks. ;-]

My tegu keeps getting out for some reason. I do have three cats, but they never seem too interested in any of my herps. I saw my biggest guy, Cujo, sniffing around a box and sure enough my tegu was burrowed underneath. I've found him under pillows, dressers, etc. I have clamps on his screen top, I really don't know how he keeps getting out. Oh well.
