Small species of Rachs

Vivarium Sep 26, 2003 02:55 PM

I am familiar with crested geckos, but I as wondering: are there any smaller species of Rachs that are readily available (in the $50-75 dollar range for unsexed hatchlings)?

Well, there are Gargoyles (R. Auriculatis) - which are relatively inexpensive. They are pretty interesting - more docile than cresteds.

They do tend to creep me out because they just STARE at you - not moving.

I have one I call Dr. Evil, because he's big, ugly and has a stare that can cut right through you. LOL.

I love him!!!

Cool! How do you keep them? Are they pretty much the same as the crested geckos in terms of care?
