This is a rescue animal and I have no idea what the previous husbandry was so don't get upset with me - OK? It's the most grossly deformed sulcata I have seen so far. I don't know what it's life span will be, but it appears healthy, at least from all outward appearances.

I use pbase as a photo host and it doesn't seem to be the most stable place - frequent down time. I can see it just fine, I'd like to know if you are still having probems.

firstly right click on the red X.
Then select properties.
Look for the address (URL)& copy WHOLE data.
Next, PASTE it into your browsers address bar & click GO.
The pic will appear.

...and you don't have a "right click" button? What then?

Rouen Sep 26, 2003 11:15 PM

then you ask for a link http://image.pbase.com/u33/mngatorguy/large/21670869.deformedsulcata.jpg

if you have a mac, upgrade to system 10 so you can use a right click mouse! or, just drag the photo icon into a new empty window.

That's very sad.

A pretty awful local reptile store has several that look like that. The f'd up thing is that the guy bred them himself. He thinks he's god's gift to herpetoculture, too.
(No, there's absolutely no talking to them. They are very far off in delusion-ville. But they will happily send people pictures of deformed and scarred animals they have for sale, so you can let me know if you want to try!)

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?
