Can anyone help me with an ID on this Varanus? I am pretty sure that it is from the V. timorensis complex, but where does it fit?

Yes, Varanus auffenbergi or "Peacock" and "Blue Spot Timor" are common names for it even though it's not a true Timorensis by current taxonomy.
