The largest corn I ever saw was over 1200 grams. The snake was huge. I have two corns (2004) that are 5ft and a little over 1000 grams. Cornsnakes are normally under 1000 grams but there are some large ones out there.

The guy asks a simple, reasonable question and he's got two clowns responding with immature answers. This is why I prefer other forums over kingsnake.

The guy gets two funny replies to his simple question, and some stick in the mud interjects with an unnecessary response. This is why I prefer the other people who posted over the stick in the mud.

Thanks man!,.......

Yes, I and many other have given countless amounts of helpful advice and opinions here over the years, and there is certainly no harm in having some good fun once in a while. I have made well over 10,000 posts on KS over the course of several years, and the VAST majority have been quite useful and helpful. I also know for a fact that I have saved the lives of many snakes owned by people on several of these forums over the years too because of my helpful, detailed, and serious advice.

This was a very simple question that was answered by the others anyway, so a bit of humor thrown in was probably not harmful here at all. Most people would accuse me of usually being far too serious and scientific with my posts and replies, which I can definitely be at times.

Yes, sometimes it can be a bit boring on the forums, so some silly stuff now and then being added is certainly no big deal, as long as the timing is decent

Anyway, that's the way I see it

regards, ~Doug

If you spend any reasonable amount of time here on the forums you'll quickly find out we like to have a bit of fun from time to time. I mean te forums have been boring here lately with most breeders putting their snakes away for brumation and the holidays aproaching, and no one has any money and all. I even said sorry on my first post cause I drove a truck for 11 hours then logged on only to find this question about, what is the biggest Corn snake? Common you have to have a sense of humor with a name like Dick Hurtz, lol. My opologies to the OP, if it came across wrong. Would it have been more exciting if I had said, "6 feet"? (I don't weigh snakes)

Hey all kidding aside, there was actually a guy in my nieghborhood who actually was called Dick Hurtz, that's why I picked up on it so quick, lol. Take care ~Jorge

....I don't weigh my snakes either. It's pretty obvious to me if they are a healthy weight for the length.
Now I could definitely understand getting a weight if medications need to be administered but I have been lucky enough not to have needed to go down that road.
