I can’t wait to see how many people on here start using the 'K' version when they never, ever did before. Ha! It’s funny. I personally don’t take offense in learning something new.

If I had a doctorate in the field and I knew nothing at all about this pronunciation, I might feel a little stupid, but who the heck cares in the end about semantics. I do not think the guy who wrote the article was being aloof or condescending either. He was trying to teach and also trying to keep people who should know better from embarrassing themselves.

No biggie.

Why is every one getting stuck on this? The whole point was the explanation of the genetics of some color patterns, not the pronunciation.

Realy? The pronunciation has some people up in arm, I don't get it. I thought people would like to learn some thing about the genetics and give people a better understanding of some of our morphs.
