>>if he is small enough place a few two litre bottles with warm thawed pinky's inside of them close to places a snake could hide. Try to get creative. if you can make them nice dark warm hiding spots with food inside you should have good luck trapping the snake. if he is too big to fit in a bottle just improvise. Also check all warm spots in the house like behind the computer or fridge ect. good luck!
Yeah the bottles work best if you cut a section about 1/3 at the top and invert it so you have almost a funnel for the opening, and the small opening where the cap went is now facing inward. This makes it easy for the snake to get in and harder to find it's way out. He probably won't go outside if he senses it's cold out there. Many snakes actually come into warm houses when winter sets in. I would look for warm appliances like refridgerators and such that he might be snuggled against. Start from the escape point and work outward looking in all possible places. If it's a room that can be closed and kept closed, make sure he can't get under the door. Put a towel wedged tightly so as to try to at least keep him in that room. If it's been some time since the escape then he may have gotten past that already, but I would assure myself he's not in there before I started searching the whole house. Good luck! Oh one more thing they are nocturnal so he may be on the move at night.
