thank you so much Dmong and tattoo! Draco got a snake yesterday and he was pretty darn hungry went right for him! He was having some issues getting him and kinda gave up after a while so I took away the mouse and waited for a few hours. I put the mouse back in and feel asleep next to the cage (I wanted to make sure the mouse didn't hurt him too much) but when I woke up a few hours later no mousie! And a very pleased looking Draco with a big bulge going yummy yummy in my tummy! So I'm very proud of him. We switched to a heating pad and got him another hidey hole for the other side. He seems pretty happy! So Draco and I thank you so much for all your help. We will be around And if you don't mind keep you guys updated on Draco

You're very welcome!
One suggestion though........just make sure you put an accurate thermometer down at the floor bottom on the 1/3rd to 1/2(max.) portion of the tank you have heated now under the substrate so that it doesn't get above about 86 degrees F, that way the snake will use the hide on the warm side now and then when digesting meals.

I have a thermometer on each side currently hovering between 80 and 83 on the warm side ^.^ both are at the bottom of the cage he's been hanging out on the warm side all day came out of his hidey to say hi and has been sitting just outside of the bidet for a bit now^.^ he seems vey happy with his full tummy so thank you again ^.^
