I picked this guy up a few weeks ago to pair with my two loan female Glades. I was skeptic about these at first but I feel now they are legit if you can track down a good breeder with good records. From what I was able to dig up Gulf Coast first brought these to the market about the same time the white sided black rat was available. It also seems these were available before the yellow rat white sides. Perhaps the yellow rat was actually the one crosed from the original white side Glades. Who knows at this point. But I would be interested in any feedback. This guy does have the red tongue that you would expect form a glades. Let me know what you think as it took me about 45 minutes and 30 picks to get this tongue shot...LOL
