That's the plan.
As far as I heard that is how the granite line originated.
The line breeding of Split saddles led to more aberrancies until they eventually produced the granites. And those ultra granites (the totally speckled ones).....The ultras are very hard to reproduce. Bob Hansen bred an ultra to an ultra this year and got only one that would be considered an ultra....the other clutchmates were normal looking with a few aberrancies around the neck area.
I plan on trying to create some granites from the split saddles one day...don't know how many generations it will take but we'll see, I hope.
