Baby Monitors Everywhere!

jburokas Nov 29, 2010 05:02 PM

Two clutches of Kimberley Rock Monitors and now some Argus in a month's time. Yikes!

Upside-down Argus is screaming at the fat behemoth on top of him, "Get off me!!! You're crushing me!!!

The behemoth removed to let the others hatch in peace:

Kimmies!

Heya paisan! Where the hell have you been, Mike? Long time no hear from.

Remember that Dipso male that came to me a couple years ago? He is the one that fathered these kiddies too that hatched this summer!

Hope all is well, Mike!

Krusty
Every thing is good with me and mine.
I now have 3 F2'S (0.3), Adrianna (Juney), Gabriella (Gabby) and Jonna.

I just needed a break, yesterday was the first time I have gone on line in over a year!
Thanks for asking Brother.

You are a breeding machine, glad to see the desert iggies worked out for you!

At this time I am only working with Similis (my favorite species), great lil Monitors.

seconded. I remember kimmies as being considered delicate; is that still the case?

We wouldn't have 6 and a half billion people if you had to be beautiful to get laid.
6.6 African House snakes
3.2 reticulated pythons
.1 corn snake
4.2 Florida Kings
1.2 speckled kings
1.2 ball pythons
0.0.1 Argentine boa

Delicate is not a word I would use to describe any Monitor lizard. I think they're tough as heck animals so long as you meet their minimum requirements. I suppose the newborn Kims are very tiny and need particular conditions to get started well in, but after that, they are as bulletproof as Ackies or any other Monitor lizard. I certainly don't have to "baby" the adults at all, or even juveniles a couple months old.

Congratulations, JB! You've racked up quite a list of accomplishments with monitors over the years. Keep up the good work!

Take care!
