Finally got a black cap! Check it out!

I finally got a Hwy 277 or Loma Alta that has a black cap! I acquired him from the milk man, Shannon Brown! He was eating lightly scented pinkies before I got him. The first meal I gave him was lightly scented but the second meal, all it took was a little teasing and he ate an unscented pinkie. So far my switching Alterna to unscented rate is 100% as of now. Whoooo hooo!

I changed pictures of the 277 in my profile. That female is a screamer and if I had $$ I would love to pair him up with her. She's awesome. Seems like she is more orange than he is too. She has a nice black cap as well!

Congrats, that's a very nice black headed Blair's. I prefer Blair's with light bluish gray, bright orange, solid black head caps and thick black borders around the orange. My favorite alterna would be a light pinband with alternates, no red and a solid gray head. Hwy. 277 has both those phases so it's definately my favorite locality.
