Interesting Thayeri...

Jlassiter Dec 01, 2010 07:16 PM

I got this girl in Daytona in 2009 from Jim Minesinger.
She is from Lee Abbott lineage.
I purchased it as a male but checked the gender later and found out it was a female, but that is no biggie since we can always use a few more girls....lol

Anyway...
A couple months ago I noticed a red smear in her ground color between her 4th and 5th saddle.....I thought she had just rubbed up against something in her enclosure but she has shed 5 times or so since then and the red smear is there to stay......
I've never seen so much saddle color in the ground color of a thayeri....Plus she has some neat little aberrancies I like.

Check her out:

John That's pretty funny you posted that. I was reading some old thayeri posts a few days ago and saw that same snake when you got her/him. Here is the original pic if you don't mind me posting.
