my first litter of 2010

patoquack Dec 03, 2010 09:22 PM

jungle het albino dam (from salmonboa.com) bed to a hypo harlequin het albino sire (from basicallyboas.com)

a quick pic of the litter born today - 19 in the litter - one that appears to be a male jungle sunglow.. or make that a harlequin jungle sunglow..? he looks healthy in terms of no unabsorbed yolk, but his eyes look a bit odd. I'm hoping it's not something bad.

mother is doing great. she let me take out all of the litter and do a quick clean up of her cage without any bother. I'll post a few more pics of the albino or sunglow in a few days.

this next pic is a yearling male (born during november 2009) from a female harlequin (from allboas.com) bred to a jungle male from Bill kirby.

thanks for looking.
Patrick

here's a better look at the sunglow.. or at least I'm pretty sure it's a sunglow.

the eyes are odd..

I know it's still not the best pic, but any thoughts?

a an Albino Jungle not A Sunglow. As for the eyes if you want to save them your gonna need to get your hands on some Tetracycline A.S.A.P! It's for eye infections. Ask your vet or look online. I know it was hard to find about a year ago but think it's more available now. Best of luck with that and don't lag on getting the meds cause the more time goes by the less chance you have at saving those eyes. Nice litter by the way.

Definitely some lookers in that group and the 09 is just pure jungle eye candy in my book... My favorite pattern morph hands down!!!

thanks Al. I'm shooting 0 for 2 on albino litters.. as far as producing an albino or sunglow.

the albino from this litter passed, but that made for a nice treat for my snapping turtle. got to find the lemonaid where ever you can.. right?!
