Pastel Litter!

Djinn Dec 03, 2010 09:46 PM

I've been trying for two years to get this one!
I thought this year was a bust too, because I never saw her swell. I pulled the male out after 5 months of on and off courting. I never witnessed copulation either.
Anyways, shortly after I pulled the male, she started to coil up, then swell up. She was due on Thanksgiving day.

These pics will show why I've been so geeked about this litter.
Here's the mom. She's a 2004 Lokken/Lucy pastel and my favorite animal.

I hope I got the tag right..

Wow, mom and dad are gorgeous. The babies look like screamers too. Wait until after the first shed, you'll be amazed. Congrats.

Thanks!

It's funny. She was overdue and yesterday morning I was telling my wife that I had to fight off these images in my head of squeezing her like a tube of toothpaste to get those puppies out, lol.

Now, I have to wait until they shed, uhg.

Do you think this one is going to grow up to be an intense Pastel...mwuahahahaha! There are two or three more that are at least as nice as this one, but are still in the sack, so I didn't disturb them.

There are several babies with funky tail stuff going on.

I forgot to mention. There are twelve babies and no slugs.
I will probably keep the entire litter, lol.

One of my biggest hopes with this litter is that I would get a baby that looks as good as that smokin' pastel male of yours. Time will tell..
Next fall, I'm going to pair this same female up with that RG x Inferno male I got from you.

Thanks!

This one has me week in the knees, as Jeff would say..
Notice the heart shaped tail saddles.

Here's some others.
Sweet little bat-wing saddles on this one.

Those babies they really do make you weak in the knees , plus this Loken Lucy pastel is Smoking Hot !!

The male you used was a great looking Pastel but still not in her class !

She needs to be paired with something like Richards RC Pastel's or maybe
a male that looks like one of my Solar Flare Pastel Fems

Solar Flare Pastel 08HAF01

Solar Flare Pastel 08HAF02

Great looking Pastel you produced Jason !!

Thanks man!

Those are some real beauties you have there!

I have a male RG x Inferno I picked up from Richard this past summer. He isn't as colorful as the RC's, but I'd be surprised if he has one speckle he's so clean. He actually reminds me of those Summit Pastels from 2004. That same kind of extremely clean, blocky saddle look to him. I'm planning on pairing him up with the Lucy fem next fall, but if something better comes along. I'll use him on someone else. That female is the best female Pastel I own.

Now, with this litter, I have some trade bait, lol.
One can't have too many great Pastel bloodlines, imho.

Thanks,
