Caramel Glow Clowns, Ghost Clowns?

raspoptsis Dec 07, 2010 05:42 PM

What do you guys think about this pairing?

Caramel Glow x Clown = Double het

Double het x Double het = Caramel Glow Clown, Caramel Clowns, Ghost Clowns!

We think this should make for some stunning combos!!

Tom,

Thanks for sharing your eye candy with us.

I can't wait to see what you produce this coming season.

Caramel clowns sounds like a great combo.

Congratulations on having such beautiful animals.

I hope to see more people willing to make triple and even quad het recessives in the coming years. Sure the odds of hitting that quadruple recessive are long (1 in 64 per egg with a pair of quad hets) but your odds of normals go down too and the clutch variety will be staggering.

raspoptsis Dec 08, 2010 07:30 AM

with keeping all the hets i stand a way better chance then just having a pair of triple hets i have 3 females to breed into this project and then i will keep all the hets and breed them bvack together so i think my chances will be great but also imagine all the other combos made inbetween

BackBeat Dec 08, 2010 01:33 PM

I thought TRIPLE Het odds were 1 in 64? (4 x 4 x 4)

And Quad Het odds are 1 in 256? (4 x 4 x 4 x 4)

Correct, right??

I've bred triple het Corns on a couple occasions. Great variety in the clutches.

If only Balls had larger clutches. Oh well....

Even still, the anticipation of ANY triple het X triple het clutch hatching is grrrreat.

i think your right on the odds but also imagine everything else made in between waiting for these snakes to hatch alot of new combos also thanks everybody for the comments and kind words tom

Yes, ya'll are right, 1 in 256 odds per egg from quad het X quad het. My bad. Too many late nights and early mornings.

You could breed a pair of those together for there entire lives and still get new combos every clutch.
