Latest and Last Clutch of 2010

RG Dec 08, 2010 10:54 PM

Well, this is by far my latest clutch of eggs I've ever had...I consider it an early x-mas gift!

They were a double clutch, that this female Amel laid, without being reintroduced to the male Tricolor Mega Hypo.

The eggs were laid on 09/11/2010 and yesterday after 87 days the first one (a normal) emerged.

Here are a few more shots:

The "Normals" are much darker in this clutch than the previous one. Also, I was expecting/hoping to produce some pinbanded normals (since I had a few pinbanded Amels)...so far, the three that have hatched look the opposite of pinbanded...that's just weird!

I'll post some additional photographs once they are all out.

Enjoy!

Sweet looking milks, Rusty!

I must have been posting my above post the same time you were posting this post, and I by no means meant your post was slow, or boring. This is the kind of thing I wanted to see on the milk forum to help pick things up a little.
Congratulations on a great clutch.

Yeah...we were both at it!

That sockhead Hondo is AWESOME looking!

Was that from this year?

Just when I thought the season was over. They are all beautiful. Looking forward to seeing the rest as they emerge. Looks like all the eggs were fertile.

Excellent "Christmas" clutch Rusty!

The neon bi-colored amel there is super nice man!. Look forward to seeing the rest when they emerge.
