I've been noticing that the fat lazy Jax of ours is getting super close to the silkies before shooting them. He hits them dead on, but is this strange or is he just a lazy guy? He's getting like an inch away...I haven't seen him eat the crix lately, so I'm not sure if he does the same thing with them.

Maybe I'll try placing one on a limb that he's across from to see if he'll shoot at it. I think his tongue needs a workout...hehehe!

Try getting him one of those iguana leashes and taking him on a jog, maybe then he'll slim down a bit.... Yeah I'd like to see that.... Maybe a buns of steel video???

Good idea, but actually, all I need to do to give him his exercise is 1) spray him or 2) try to get him on my hand hehehe

He hates being sprayed and he hates me! LOL! Just kidding...he tolerates me.

Mine won't even shoot her tongue anymore. I used to hand fer her, so mayeb she got spoilt and don't even bother "hunting" anymore.nowadays she doesn't even shoot out her tongue. She just rans right up and grabs the food from my finger with her mouth! and yes...she is fat too!

If Luna doesn't go to the cup I bring it to her (and then she will eat so it's not like she's not hungry) - of course you have to remember I've had her for three days so I am definitely into making friends! But from all your comments maybe I should just leave the cup where it is and make her go to it. She is shooting with no problem.
