Yeah, I have always considered the "lavender" specks to be hypomelanistic. I just don't see how they can accurately be considered anything else. The fact that they are the color they are along with the ruby-red eyes also coincides with being greatly reduced melanin-wise as well. If they were a more purple-hued lilac/lavender coloration, I could roll with them being lavender t-plus much more. This is all relative of course, and can technically be looked at several different ways as you already know since ALL animals other than amels have tyrosinase anyway. And there are countless degrees of how much melanin the cells are able(allowed) to produce in different animals depending on how much tyrosinase these cells release in order to ultimately be synthesized into melanin too.
Anyway, I wasn't really trying to re-hash the debate on them, but was just basically commenting out loud on their particular "look" from seeing your nice closeup pics of these morphs.
Anyway, I have always thought they were pretty interesting, and that has always been my personal take on them.
