Hi Rusty,

Just finished reading your book "The Complete Suboc", wow what a book! I had kept subocs several years back and loved them but had some difficulty keeping them in the typical colubrid setup. I was especialy inspired by all the localities and color morphs. Because of this I decided to dive back in and contacted Michael Price. Michael is a great guy to deal with and was able to aquire a pair of king mtn subocs and two adults he collected from davis mtn. One of the blonde morphs in paticular shown on page 85 listed as "mustard blonde" really excited me. I am interested in aquiring some of these but am having a difficult time locating any. If you can point me the right direction I would be grateful.
Happy Holidays!

Tad,

Thanks for the comments. A friend of mine in Florida just hatched some Mustards this week. They've previously made some VERY nice Mustards. In fact, the sire is the Bleached Blonde on that picture you showed. Remarkably, many of his Blonde offspring with a Mustard female produce Mustard babies together.

His name is Mike Murphy. He is a great guy to deal with.

*p.s. Below is the nicest of their Mustard Blonde babies from last year. You can see the same snake in the hodgepodge photo below, as well.
