another guess whats in ralphs flatline

adamjeffery Dec 17, 2010 10:45 PM

i was looking at differant morph photos and ran across a pic that may give insight into what produces the color in ralph davis's flatline morph.

http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/firefly-super-enchi/

i think the pattern of ralphs snake comes from spider x clown would be my guess.
the color is what throws me for the biggest loop its just so vivid.
i just figured id see what others thoughts were on this ...again

I think you should look more in the desert clown section..

I'd say that looks quite a bit like Ralphs Flatline. I'd say Ralphs has at least one more ingredient. Enchi perhaps.

Brandon,

I think your guess is the best yet.

would the super pastel increase the darkness of the black section when combined with those other morphs? Ralph's animal looks alot like that desert clown, but with no blushing in the black parts.

I agree with Jason on that , to black on top for Super Pastel and the head would also likely be alot more washed out too if it was Super Pastel.

I sort of agree, but the line is rather thin so blushing might not be as prominent. I've seen some supers with pretty dark black and only slight blushing where the dark areas spread out. We can't really speculate on how all of these genes will react when combined. Only Ralphy knows for sure.

Who cares ?

Really, unless you are on the merge of producing it, and need to know what it is.
In that case, you want to guess and reproduce it without letting others do it also.

Otherwise, what does it change ? You will probably know soon, next year or so, etc... and you still wouldn't be close to reproduce anything like that.

How do you know what other people's projects are? Do you really think Ralph is the only one that can put all the pieces together? Have you ever looked at a new morph, and said "Man, what is in that? I gotta make one of those!"? I think all of us have, and I think likewise all of us but you are wondering what its ingredients are. I think a lot more people, then you realize, are close to putting the same project together. If it was something complicated to make then Ralph obviously wouldn't be too worried about leaking the info. I'm sure it's a pretty easy combo to make and that's why the secret is so closely guarded.

Personally I don't think it's a super pastel at all.

My best guess is it's a super tiger clown (super enchi, desert, clown)
