Breeding Antaresia maculosa

vulcan Sep 26, 2003 11:31 PM

I was wondering if anyone knew of a reliable way to sex spotted pythons. I aquired a CB Cape York spotted python two years ago. At the time she was labled as a female. She is two years and four months old now and I have decided to get her a breeding partner/cage-mate at the IRBA show in San Diego October 18th & 19th. I now want to know if my python is truely a female and if so, how can I tell if the new python will be a male (or visa versa)? Also what would be the proper way to introduce them? Finally, does anyone know where I can get info on breeding spotted pythons? I've heard that it's easy but I want to do it right.
Thanks for the input.
