Holdback Albino Pinstripe

CrestedGecko.com Dec 21, 2010 03:54 PM

Hey everyone. So it is my "slow season" right now, or at least the season where I'm not losing my mind trying to keep up with all of the eggs being laid and babies hatching. I thought I'd share a few pics of my favorite holdbacks from the past year. I'll post a new one every few days, whenever I get a chance. I hope you enjoy them!

Thanks!

I also wanted to mention that the color was not jacked up or played with in any way with this pic. This snake is an absolute freak and pretty much glows in the dark. I haven't seen a lot of albino pins in the 400 gram range like this guy, but I know I've never seen one with colors like this. Can't wait until this guys starts producing little clones of him in a few months!

breeding an albino to pin give you that gorgeous snake or is it more involved?

Is that a normal albino, or HC or Lav?

CrestedGecko.com Dec 23, 2010 04:32 PM

I bred a pinstripe het albino that I produced in '08 to a nice, mid-contrast albino female. I also produced another albino pin from the same male bred to a different female, but at the time I sold him, he wasn't showing the kind of color that this one is. Of course, this one has gotten better and better with each shed.
