Light box and new boa pics....

Sojourner Dec 22, 2010 05:37 PM

I made this thing using a box and cooler I received rats in, two dome lamps with 100 watt reveal bulbs, some white poster board and tissue paper.... I am using a NIKON Coolpix 4300 I have had for about 5 years now. It has always done great outside when the lighting was perfect, but struggled indoors period.

I was determined to figure something out. Here is what I came up with....

Pics with boas on the poster board were too far away from my lights. To raise the focal point into the brighter area of light I tried using different versions of moss and wooden structure, and ultimately going with just moss built up horizontally to the back. I took a BUNCH of pics. Here are some I wanted to share.

Pastel WG Salmon poss. het ghost

WG super Orange-tail hypo het ghost(Rubeus)....

And of course, Lavender.....

Thanks for looking! What do you think?
