I would like to purchase a pair or trio of young yellow ackies, but I can't ever seem to find them available. Is there a time of year they more often become available? Any recomended breeders with waiting lists?

I heard Switzer Reptiles breeds them. I have never bought anything from them so can't say more then that. There are usually some type of ackies for sale on the classifieds section of kingsnake.com

Monitors don't make good christmas presents though. They require alot of research before buying because of their husbandry needs.

Plenty of breeders work with yellow ackies. Switzer reptile does work with them, also Rare Earth Reptiles and Price Animal Co. There are many other breeders, but those are the ones that come to the top of my head. Good luck!
