Gecko doesnt like taste of Mineral Dust???

I introduced mealworms to my gecks today and noticed that they would test the new prey by licking it.

the male licked the worm once then went on his way several times. It seems like he ONLY likes crickets or that he really hates the mineral dust.

have yalls geckoes ever hated mineral dust?????
