Corns at almost 6 mo.

CarlKoch Dec 27, 2010 02:32 PM

These guys are close to 6 months old, and are coloring up nicely.

My most richly-colored baby.

Funky head pattern.

The whole gang.

Closer.

Mom’n’Dad.

Thanks for looking, and a belated Merry Christmas!

Carl,

With all the Corn Snake morphs, sometimes it's easy to forget how colorful "normals" can be.
I dig your photography too - especially the first three shots.

Those are really pretty! I see some nice thick borders! Jeff

You can even pick him out in the group shot! I saved back one classic colored one from this year and she's been more fun to watch color up than alot of the the morphs I kept back that don't change as dramatically. All your babies and the parents are very pretty. Thanks for sharing. I needed some cheerful pics to look at

Very nice looking corns for sure. The one with the funky head pattern looks very similar to the head patterns on many Sunkissed corns! do you know if either parent is het for Sunkissed?

Thanks, everyone! I'm pretty sure momma's just a plain-ol' normal, as I caught her in Bradford County, FL a couple years ago. Poppa may have some other stuff in his background, but his parents were a Jasper County, SC and an Abbott.

Cool, that head pattern is not exclusively a Sunkissed trait, so it's not something that is set in stone. I've even seen some Sunkissed with rather normal head patterns. Great looking snakes either way!
