I thought I'd share pictures of the 2010 corns I currently have.

First up is the only feisty one in the bunch. I added him to another snake order because he looked so nice, but I doubt I'll pick up a female for him now like I originally planned-too many other projects going on.

This guy is going to be one to watch. He might not look too fancy now, but I've seen others from this bloodline and I really like the way they turn out.

This guy doesn't look bad by any means. He's totally overshadowed by his sister though as you'll see below.

I'm consistently amazed at how vivid this girl's color is for her size. She's easily the most colorful in my collection and I'm anxious to see her as an adult. Like I said, her brother's nice but it's hard to get excited about him when I have her for comparison.

How Pretty!! Don't blame you for adding that guy to your order. The reverse ones are so bright. I'll bet they will be real stunners when they grow up. Congrats

Beautiful animals! My three current favorite corn phases, in fact! That ghost is ALREADY spectacular, and you're right, that female reverse okee GLOWS!

All are very nice indeed!

I am very partial to the ghosts. Are those from the "Specter"(SP) bloodline?

He's not related to the specters, but I do plan to cross these lines at some point in the future. Hypomelanism seems to behave very differently in these lineages. The specters I have are gaining melanin as they age, giving them a "dirty" wash that makes them a little darker and obscures the color underneath. The ghosts from this other line seem to get lighter with age and are very clean and light. Even their black borders and ventral checkers fade noticeably. They also have a nice pink/peach wash but it doesn't show up much in pictures. So I thought by crossing the two I might be able to produce some ghosts with the specter color, but "cleaner" looking.

As a comparison, here's a male specter at about a year old.

This is a female ghost from the other line at about the same age. I can already tell the young male in my last post is going to be lighter than her.

....yes, those are VERY different looking from one another, yet both are stunning in their own right!

Crossing those two bloodlines at some point would no doubt be a great project in my opinion too!

It seems that all the Specters I have looked at, have connecting saddle to some degree? Nice snakes by the way.

A lot of them do seem to have connected saddles, but I specifically picked that guy out because he was extra aberrant. His brother...not so much.

I like them all! Like Carl, those are my three favorite phases of corns. I really got to get some Spector Ghosts soon.

I should produce some next year and I've had my eye on some of your hondos-maybe we can help each other out later on.
