Hi Danny,

I just ordered a bunch of frozen rats from Layne Labs based in California and they arrived beautifully!! Even when I defrosted them they smelled new and not all gummy. I even put two thawed small rats in with my gophers and the next day they didn't even have a smell. The darn things didn't eat them!! I have found with others that they smell funky the first time you defrost them. If you order from them let me know what you think. Paige Culler, TSgt USAF. I have been in 20 years.
