On all of these forums, I have NEVER seen one picture of a completely melanistic Alterna. I know that a few recommended breeders have completely black alternas in their collections, and the ones that are breed, they sell quicker than low gas prices. Anyone, pics or any sort of information.
I've never seen a completely melanistic grayband. I've seen some really dark ones and from what I understand they are highly sought after. This is one of my alterna and is the darkest one I've seen in person. Although cool I think a melanistic alterna would take away from the beauty. Just my opinion.

I totally agree. I would just love to see one for sale in the classifieds, so that I can have a chance of getting my hands on one. That would be just about as good as the Playstation 3 thought I bought myself for Christmas, lol.
Not melanistic, but pretty dark
That is ONE AWESOME looking alterna!! That dark coloration with those orange bands are insane!!!!
